Dreamscape Global has developed a process for developing VR/AR use cases and business models so you can monetize your creativity. We encourage more imagination and creativity than logical research and planning to break out of the status quo.
IMAGINE: We first work with our clients to unleash their imagination by encouraging wild dreams and asking why? and why not? questions to break through the status quo of conventional ideas. For example: How would you use generative AI to destroy your business and rebuild it from scratch for the AI age? What’s preventing you? Why not make your business obsolete before innovators?
DESIGN: Can you design your future dream as well as possible threats and disasters that could strike? Can you revise them to develop resilient business designs? Who are your heroes? In 2016, my former Swedish VR startup, OneReality.com created a 3D version of the Lund 2070 plan so viewers could drive or ride a light rail train through downtown.
SIMULATE: Using ChatGPT, LifeJourney and other GenAI platforms, can you simulate your working product? What value does it offer not available elsewhere? How does it work? Do you get the results you want? Our Lund 2070 became a platform for Uniti.com, a student-run EV startup, where we enabled angel investors to use a VR headset to drive a virtual Uniti car through the Virtual Lund 2070 world, enabling Uniti to raise $730,000 in seed capital.
STRESS TEST: Run various worst-case scenarios with your product to see how can handle problems. For Lund 2070, our team added flooding and sea rise to show how climate change will impact Lund in the future.
ITERATE: Modify and improve your product. Make it easier to use, more useful, fun and pleasantly surprising. Our Lund 2070 model became the platform for planning 15,000 new housing units for Lund’s new Max IV Synchrotron Radiation Research.
The Virtual Lund 2070 is just one example of how VR/AR gaming engines can be used to design and simulate new facilities and business models. Today, digital twins are popular for AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction), medicine, corporate training and STEAM (STEM + Arts) education.
